Save As Web page creates fuzzy equation images
This problem has to do with saving a Word Document as a web page (.html - as oppose to .mht). More particularly - any equations that are in the document and are output during the process are fuzzy and make for poor readability.
Outputting to a .mht file (which is not an acceptable solution in this case) creates a file with clear images.
Basically if I create a new blank Word Document (am using ver 11.65686568), insert a Microsoft Equation Editor 3.0 object and then save this has a Web Page (.htm) the resultant page will show a fuzzy image (see note below*). A look at the underlying image will confirm that it is the image file which is fuzzy.
* If you test this yourself: - Don't be fooled by the fact that Internet Explorer may output a clean image. Without explaning how it does this, the underlying image, (that would be output in every other browser) is fuzzy. Take a look at the folders and images associated with the respective html page and you'll see.
Why is this?
any help or pointers would be appreciated. If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to provide more information.
thanks,
