Snowboarding not a good idea for my knees?

  • I am a very serious runner and I do track in the spring (i run 100m, 200m, ect) I do not want to hurt my knees and not be able to run in the spring. I am thinking about trying snowboarding this winter, but am afraid all the twisting and turning in snowboarding will cause me to injure my knees. (I have already had an overuse injury about 6 months ago) Is snowboarding gonna damage my knees? should i just stick to downhill skiing like i always do in the winter?? Please help me people that know the answer!!!!!!! THANKS!!


  • i would think skiing would be harder on your knees..

    but if you are just starting out snowboarding it definatly wouldnt eb good for your knees because you would be falling Alot!
