With backups like- Carlos Gonzales, Endy Chavez, Dioner Navaro, and Cesar Izturis, Venezuala could actually beat US.

No hitters are often done by very ordinary pitchers. Zambrano is good, but simply to have a no-hitter doesn't mean much other than he was dominant that game.
Saves are a very overrated stat. If it was Scot Shields closing instead of Rodriguez, Shields would have gotten 55 + saves himself
Everyone knows Felix Hernandez.. He's not off of anyone's radar
Ordonez doesn't 'tear up the outfield' and Juan Rivera is a bench player.
Martinez went three months without hitting a home run this year.
Cabrera and Mora let plenty of hits/errors go by them.
The backups you've listed are eh, ok.
Dominican Republic have a much better team. The US puts together a pretty good team as well.
None of those backups can hit worth of crap.
Francisco Rodriguez is the most overrated player to ever set foot on a baseball field. Saves don't mean anything. He put up one of the most pathetic choke jobs in history this post season. Three or four blown saves!!!
Also, Miguel Cabrera really under performed last year, and Omar Vizquel is older than the country of Venezuela.
The US, Venezuela, Dominican and Puerto Rico will come in looking like they are going to run away with it, and they will wind up loosing to Cuba or Korea or Japan. Superstar teams always under perform.
